About the Job

We are looking for a highly motivated Technical Lead with a proven experience in RTL Design and/or Verification to lead the development of semiconductor engineering challenges, evaluation frameworks, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog, digital design fundamentals, debugging, and verification methodologies while being comfortable working with modern software development tools, AI-assisted coding environments, and cloud-native engineering workflows.

This role requires hands-on technical leadership, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capability to mentor engineers while working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Technical Leadership
Lead RTL design, implementation, verification, and debugging activities.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers across design and verification tasks.
Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical evaluations.
Drive engineering quality, best practices, and technical standards across projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges.
Semiconductor Engineering & AI Workflows
Convert real-world hardware IP and RTL repositories into structured engineering challenges and evaluation tasks.
Define realistic problem statements aligned with industry use cases and semiconductor workflows.
Develop solution frameworks, validation methodologies, and pass/fail evaluation criteria.
Create debugging, verification, and design scenarios for AI-assisted engineering systems.
Contribute to improving AI-driven engineering workflows and evaluation frameworks.
Development & Infrastructure
Work with Git/GitHub-based development workflows.
Utilize Linux-based development environments.
Create and manage Docker-based development environments and workflows.
Leverage AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity and workflow efficiency.

Requirements

Experience
6–9 years of experience in RTL Design and/or RTL Verification.
Experience contributing to production semiconductor, ASIC, FPGA, or SoC programs.
Demonstrated experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
Technical Skills
Excellent knowledge of Verilog and SystemVerilog.
Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals and hardware architecture.
Experience with RTL design, simulation, verification, and debugging.
Familiarity with simulation tools and open-source environments such as Icarus Verilog.
Strong understanding of source control systems including Git and GitHub.
Working knowledge of Python for automation, scripting, and workflow enhancement.
Experience working in Linux command-line environments.
Comfortable using Docker Desktop, Dockerfiles, and containerized development workflows.
AI & Modern Engineering Tools
Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms.
Ability to effectively leverage AI tools for engineering productivity and problem-solving.
Interest in the application of AI within semiconductor engineering workflows.
Soft Skills
Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
High degree of creativity and curiosity when solving complex engineering problems.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working on production ASICs, AI accelerators, CPUs, GPUs, networking chips, or high-performance digital systems.
Prior experience in startup or fast-paced engineering environments.
Experience contributing to open-source hardware projects.
Strong interest in AI, reinforcement learning, and autonomous engineering systems.
